Sanford-Brown Institute Names New Leaders for Two Florida Schools

Aida Shehu Appointed President at SBI - Jacksonville; Freddy Gonzalez Becomes President at SBI - Orlando

Orlando, Fl. (January 3, 2011) ­­–­­ Sanford-Brown Institute (SBI) announced two campus leadership changes at two Florida schools. Aida Shehu will serve as the new President of Sanford-Brown Institute - Jacksonville. She has extensive higher education experience and has been with Sanford-Brown for five years.  Most recently, Shehu was the President of Sanford-Brown Institute - Orlando, which celebrated its first anniversary in November 2010.

Freddy Gonzalez will serve as the new campus President for Sanford-Brown Institute - Orlando.  Gonzalez comes to SBI - Orlando from Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando, where he served as the Vice President of Admissions and Marketing since 2005.  Gonzalez has worked in the education industry for the past 12 years following a 20-year military career with the United States Marine Corps.  While with the Marines, he received numerous honors and awards, among them were 22 certificates of commendation.

Shehu and Gonzalez will both oversee the day-to-day operations at their respective campuses, including academics and management.
