Sanford-Brown Institute Commencement Features Congresswoman Donna Edwards as Keynote Speaker

WHAT:Students, faculty, staff, friends and family will gather to celebrate the graduation of 150 students from Sanford-Brown Institute. Keynote speaker, Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards has become known for her efforts on behalf of women. Sworn in as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives in June of 2008, she has spent her career as a public interest advocate dedicated to addressing issues of public health among other things. Joining her will be County Executive Jack B. Johnson who will provide the opening remarks. Johnson is the sixth county executive of Prince George's County, the fastest growing county in the state of Maryland.
WHO:Those attending/participating in the graduation include Congresswoman Donna F. Edwards and county executive Jack B. Johnson.
WHEN:Graduation ceremony will take place Friday, March 27th at 6:00 p.m.
WHERE:The ceremony will take place at Eleanor Roosevelt High School Auditorium, Greenbelt, Maryland
