FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (January 18, 2011) – Sanford-Brown Institute (SBI) - Fort Lauderdale announced that it has received approval from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and American Dental Association (ADA) for new Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene programs. The Dental Hygiene program at SBI - Fort Lauderdale is designed to provide students with a comprehensive plan of studies through classroom and hands-on experience. Students prepare to become entry-level dental hygienists qualified for employment in clinical practice and alternative career settings. The first dental hygiene classes are scheduled to begin at SBI - Fort Lauderdale February 7.
