This Monday, Sanford-Brown College will be honored by the Mayor of St. Peters and City Aldermen as a school committed to serving the needs of the community. July 26 will be known as “Sanford-Brown College Recommitment to the Americans with Disabilities Day.”
As part of Sanford-Brown College’s ongoing commitment to students, teachers, staff and families dealing with disabilities, the school will hold a campus-wide series of events designed to promote awareness and understanding. DASA St. Louis wheelchair athlete Allen Baumgartner will headline the event, talking about his triumph over physical challenges. Other events include the leashes of love display, a DASA athlete obstacle course and a swing dance.
