SBC - Skokie Hosts Visit by Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky

Sanford-Brown College - Skokie (SBC) hosted Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) this week at their campus at 4930 Oakton Street. She met with a representative of the Student Ambassadors, a student service group that plans and participates in regular community outreach. Representative Schakowsky also visited a Dental Assistant class where she learned how students take dental x-rays and visited with Medical Assistant students who gave a demonstration on proper blood pressure screening techniques. The Congresswoman congratulated the students on their decision to pursue their continuing education. She then met the campus leadership team and learned about the student population, the many financial aid and graduate employment resources available and the ongoing career services offered to students at Sanford-Brown College – Skokie.
