Steven R. Guell Appointed President, Sanford-Brown College Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (July 17, 2008) – Dr. Steven R. Guell, of Fond du Lac, has been named president at Sanford-Brown College Milwaukee. Guell, 34, has more than 15 years experience in public health training and education. Most recently, Guell served in a leadership position as director of ITT-Technical Institute in Woodbury, Minn.

At Sanford-Brown College Milwaukee, Guell is responsible for all operations including education, admissions, finance, student accounts, career services, library, human resources, and compliance. His goal is to make Sanford-Brown College the best experience possible for students, faculty, employers and the community and a model school from admissions to graduation to employment.

Previously, as vice-president of academic affairs for the health division at Career Education Corporation, Guell was responsible for the academic integrity of 22 schools and approximately 15,000 students. A licensed chiropractor, Guell managed a private practice, from 2001-2004, while serving as the radiography program manager at High-Tech Institute, in Brooklyn Center, Minn.

Guell holds a Doctorate, Chiropractic, from Northwestern Health Sciences University, in Bloomington, Minn.; and a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from Marion College, in Fond du Lac, Wis.
