History and Mission

The history of the Sanford-Brown name dates back to 1866 when Rufus C. Crampton, a professor at Illinois College, established a school to meet the demands of post-Civil War America. Today, there are over 30 private colleges and schools bearing the name Sanford-Brown across the United States and the growth and expansion of our network of student-focused, career-centric campuses continues.

We hire and maintain a group of dedicated professionals whose goal is providing high-quality healthcare career programs to help enable our graduates to achieve success in their chosen area of the healthcare industry.
